Time is running out
The Mediterranean Action Network brings together NGOs, managers of marine protected areas (MPAs), diving and sailing centers, grassroots movements and groups engaged in marine conservation in the Mediterranean region.
The network connects the members of this online community, provides them with relevant information and engages civil society in joint actions to increase public awareness and amplify pressure on decision-makers.
Ultimately, Mediterranean Action Network members cooperate and support each other to maximise their impact and achieve their common goal: the protection of the Mediterranean Sea.
The Mediterranean Sea, once teeming with life, is increasingly suffering from the devastating impacts of human activities. To halt and reverse the decline of this biodiversity hotspot, we need to join forces and take action at multiple levels: local, national and regional.
Our network brings together NGOs, MPA managers, diving and sailing centers, grassroots movements and groups engaged in marine conservation.
